My sister is thinking of moving to Puerto Rico and considering Colegio Nuestra Sra. de La Merced en Hato Rey as she would like her children to attend a Spanish speaking school, instead of English. Does anyone have any familiarity of the tuition cost for La Merced, in relation to Baldwin, Robinson and Saint John? Thanks.

While I can't tell you exactly the amount , I can definitely tell you it is much, much less than those other schools.
It is a very good school.

I have. from K through grade 10 when I transferred to Colegio San Antonio. I graduated high school in 1998 so my knowledge of the school is dated. It's a small school compared to the other catholic schools. I don't know the exact tuition, but it's cheaper than Colegio San Antonio and all the English-based schools for sure. I gather it's no better or worse than the average school. I found San Antonio to be a little better in terms of academic achievement. It was a bigger school and they pushed you a little harder, so I do not regret having finished high school (perhaps the most academically important grade of High school..11th) in Colegio San Antonio. But Im sure you can get a decent education in La Merced. Prepared me well to compete academically in bigger schools and I did spend 10 grades in it so I can't knock it. Good luck.
