All I see on this forum is how horrible and dangerous Puerto Rico is. I have been to PR many times and know its not the case. Sure all places have its good and bad areas but you can't say that the whole place is bad because of a few bad areas. Can anyone share the nicest towns on Puerto Rico? Where are the areas with the least crime, natural beauty, great people, things to do? I also love that most towns have a center square that people can gather that has the local church, town hall, small shops, possibly a fountain, etc.. I know the one in Ponce and San German are beautiful.. can anyone share which other towns have nice squares?

areas with most things to do: metro area
least crime: outside the metro
like every other country, the metro is usually the most dangerous area of the country, but also the most modern, americanized/untradional, and active area of the country
great people: lol every bodys different
natural beuty: in my oppinion is the southeastern areas of puerto rico.. rolling hills, beutiful beaches, I luv all of my island, but I like this part more. if u like desert like environments then go to the southwest / cabo rojo area. If u like rainforests nd swamps then go to the northeast / rio grande area.
about the town squares, nearly evry town has that.

These are some of the best areas to live in Puerto Rico. Some are located in the metro areas and some are in the center of the island. The metro areas have more crime, compared to the other parts of the island.
