What's your profession? You said you worked 6 years at McD's because the job market was bad.... what did you do before that?

Actually I was doing some roofing under the table. For the past 10 - 15 years all I could get are low paying restaurant jobs. I would LOVE to not have to work at restaurants any more. I have been applying all over in many different businesses just to get some income coming in. I've even printed up some flyers and passed them out to do some lawn cutting/bush trimming. Haven't gotten any calls yet. I went to the L.A. County office to apply for some openings for the county. I would rather just work than get UI but I need money. So for now I'll take what I can get. Also I would like to attend ACC and get into the surgical tech program in June.
