So back in 2008 i got laid off from my job and went on unemployment. After going thru the first 26 weeks and the extensions that were available at the time i started to look for work. I found a job in 2009 worked till 2012 then was laid off. So i opened a claim for my 2009 job. After the first 26 weeks i went to the one stop office cause i needed a print out of a form. The woman there informed me that i had extensions from my 2008 claim that were still available so she took me off the claim from 2012 and put me back on the 2008 and told me i had to finish those first before i proceeded with my 2012 claim. So i claimed last week on the internet and it told me my benifits have been exhausted. so my question is will my claim from my 2009 job reopen on its own or will i have to take action some how? I hate being in limbo here and would appreciate any advice or storys similiar to this.

to summarize

feb 2008- sep 2009- claim 1
jul 2012- dec 2012- claim 2
dec 2012- jul 2013- (was put back on claim1)

Since you personally saw a rep and now, in spite of that, your claim is in limbo, you should call NJ to find out what's going on. Sounds like there is a computer glitch.
