My BYE was last week 8/10 and I received the notice of invalid claim section 1277. Did they just automatically file a new claim for me that’s why I got that form?

I also received a claim form for two weeks, one for my last week of BYE 8/10, and one for after my BYE 8/17. Am I going to get paid for 2 weeks including the week after my BYE also? Does this mean I will continue to keep receiving claim forms in the future weeks now? Am I officially automatically extended and to keep collecting on my federal tiers?

I hear people here all the time filing for a new application after their BYE, but I don’t want to yet because I’m afraid it might mess up my cycle and just delay things. Again, I received a claim form for including a week after my BYE, so does that mean I’m going to receive forms for the future weeks after BYE and be paid for it after my BYE? drawing on my tier funds? Was I automatically put back to my federal tier since I don't qualify for a new claim? Do I have to do anything?

Don't do anything but submit the claim forms you've been sent.

Since you've already received the Section 1277 letter, CA has applied for a new claim for you at your bye and found you don't qualify.

Keep claiming. There should be no interruption in your benefits. Yes, you will resume benefits on your current tier.

This is a nonevent. Just keep claiming.
