I am wondering if I will be paid on this with EUC ending the 28th of December if I read correctly

The cut off date for EUC is based on the week ending date of the claim form. Since CA uses bi weekly, there are going to be people with claim forms with week ending dates of 1/4. Even they will be able to paid for the first week on the claim form even though it won't be submitted until after 1/4.
