I too, need assistance on this subject... But mine is a bit more permanent? It's a salaried position, one of which I have no idea how to do, never tried, and it's also 33k less than my last position.. Not in my "regular" field of computers and in a field where, maximum, I'd make, in 10 years, only 66k if I was lucky (whereas I was making 73k when I left after only 4 years). My question is, last year, I did my full run of unemployment, but had a smattering of jobs to round out the year, until this year when I found myself unemployed again.. This time I've been unemployed since... Feb 27. My question is, will I have a hard time justifying turning down this position? And will I lose my unemployment in the process? I realize it's just over unemployment rates, but I can't see myself trying to live on this (and I realize that people do it every day... But I'm the primary income in the house). Thank you in advance for your help. In not in anyway crying about money, or anything like that I'm just confused about the process.
Each individual state determines what, how much and when something is or isn't suitable. Without knowing your state and the specif of the previous and potential position, all we can say is it may or may not matter.
