I get a little tired of everyone making me seem like it's MY fault I can't get a job.
My husband is frustrated by his hours (does nightshift) so I can work. Because I can't get a job yet he says he is 'working for nothing.'
Then if I mention I am going to try to do "XYZ" he'll say, "You could do much better." or "We need more money than that to get ahead." Then in another breath he'll say "Go get anything..."
It's so frustrating.
So in addition to my stress trying to get a job, I have him hassling me.
Did you know we are 'losing everything' because I can't get a job? Thanks, right?

Speaking in generalities, yes, work or lack of work causes major stress. Working in a stress-filled job brings on stress for the whole family, being unemployed is stressful due to financial duress. One of my friends, who is a long-term psychologist, being in the field for over 30+ years, says that the number one reason couples seek counseling from him is for the financial stress that is affecting their marriage. I TRULY wish the best for you in finding the right financial vehicle for you soon.
