CA Unemployment Online Claim - Indep. Contractors (work, denial, trigger)

I worked as an independent contactor from February2020 thru March2020. And I also temped from October2019 to Jan2020. On the California Unemployment online claim, when it asks for my last employer, would that be me as the independent contractor? Any other informational tips for filing online as an independent contractor before i prepare my claim would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Enter the W-2 job first, then answer the 1099 questions and trigger the denial. You don’t have enough in your base period, so you’re going to need to kick over to PUA.
