I'm deleting my previous long explanation because I just learned the "Notice of Unemployment Insurance Claim Filed" doesn't mean it was approved.

Basically I received this letter today because I filed a new claim after my expired April 4th since I couldn't find a way to ask for an extension.

So the letter doesn't actually mean anything since my previous employer will deny it (since they already approved my original.)

On the off-chance that it's approved, do I need to officially cancel this claim or will it automatically cancel since I will never certify on it?
