I'm surprised it's 17 weeks because I thought it was originally 16 weeks.

But yeah, from everything I've read about CA extensions, it will be 13 weeks extension plus 13 weeks $600 extra.

An extra $2400 would be nice but I don't think it's happening unless there's any extension in the new bill. Considering we didn't even get the first one yet, I'm not holding my breath!

So what if I say i wasnt available all 4 days and say I claim only 2 days ready and available for work due to illness, moving, taking care of relative 50 miles away?

Essentially that can prolong the weeks? Just a thought

Don’t think so, because it counts as a week.

Yeah, $2,400 would be nice. Let’s hope we can claim it after 13 weeks.

So now it’s looking like 13 weeks of $600 instead of 17 weeks since our 13 weeks will end before July 31....

4. Payment Calculations for FPUC.
Section 2104(b)(1) of the CARES Act requires the additional $600 FPUC to be
paid to individuals “in amounts and to the extent that they would be determined if
the State law of the State were applied with respect to any week for which the
individual is . . . otherwise entitled under the State law to receive regular
compensation.” This includes regular UC, PEUC, PUA, EB, STC, TRA, DUA,
and SEA.

a. Determining entitlement to FPUC.

i. States will calculate the weekly benefit amount, for the programs
outlined above.

ii. If the individual is eligible to receive at least one dollar ($1) of
underlying benefits for the claimed week, the claimant will receive the
full $600 FPUC.

Then you have an able and available issue for UI.

Well I still think we can get more extended weeks anyway. NYC residents are going to be stuck home for a very long time.

They HAVE to extend. Otherwise just give us more stimulus checks.

Last thing is to have riots and crime
