i got my first 2 weeks of benefits no problem...

after certifying for the past 2 weeks the claim status says "pending"

what does "pending" mean? and how long does it stay at "pending"?

Mine is pending now too, never have had it pending so long.

I'm going to say it's one of two things. Either your company is fighting the ruling or you didnt put on your biweekly claim that you were receiving sick, vacation, or leave pay etc... Which can in turn, result in a now pending state. If you can provide more information on the reason for your seperation, we may be able to narrow it down as to the reason for it to be pending now.

It is NOT just one of those 2 things. I've had this happen on normal weeks and after a few hours it gets paid

This has been my experience too and I've been collecting benefits off and on for the last 2 years.
Just give the system some time to catch up. Millions of claims are being processed right now for these last two weeks.

If it's any consolation. I self certified around 8am and just switched from "pending" to "paid".

great! when it was pending did it say $0 authorized, then the full amount showed up once it hit PAID?

Did you not have the notice that we don’t certify for weeks for the time being, as the EDD will be issuing payment to everyone and then having us fill out certifications later? Just curious because I saw that and didn’t certify this week. I usually certify at midnight Sat/Sun so I get paid Sun night.
