Hello all,
My unemployment ran out sometime in the middle of January. I have the last two weeks coming to me that I have not collected. My last certification was on the 9th.My last pay was the 13th. If a am to receive the last two weeks coming to me, should I backdate it and to what day,, the 10th? I'm confused.

When we certify, are we being paid for the two weeks behind that date or the two weeks in front..

thanks for helping

You're being paid for the two weeks you're certifying for. Each week is for a separate 7 day period. It's the two immediate previous weeks prior to the day you certify. I don't think you can backdate. The portal tells you what weeks are available to certify for and you answer questions according to THAT given 7 day period. If this isn't what you're asking.. I apologize.
