The reason I am contacting you is because on*February 22, 2021*I received an email after I certified stating that my claim for a benefit payment ending 2/20/21 stated "*The responses you provided while certifying require manual review in order to determine your eligibility for benefits".*
One of those reasons was to let them know*I was going back to school in which they told me to just send in my schedule once it was available. I was told to fax my schedule to (609) 633-2884 which I tried to do all day on January 21st, to which it wasn't constantly going through and just stating pending,* I also tried faxing it to my local office at (732)736-7148 to no avail. I then finally mailed my schedule to my local office on January 22nd. I started classes on January 25th. I spoke with someone by the name of Kimberly at the Reemployment Center on February 3rd for the SAME EXACT reason I am writing to you now, as I went without payment before after getting the same notification about my claim needing manual review who I explained my situation to and after looking over my case stated she saw that my schedule had been received.*
She then said she submitted an Escalation Form for the problem to be fixed but that it may take 6-7 weeks in order for the issue to be fixed because a Claims Specialist has to actually look at my Claim and meanwhile I can still get an email, phone call, or a piece of mail from the Unemployment Office regarding the matter. She also stated to keep claiming in the meantime, because eventually this will all be fixed and hopefully I will receive back payment. I thought this HAD BEEN FIXED because on February 12th 2021 at 12:18AM I received an automated email stating that an Unemployment benefit of $416.00 was being deposited into my account which it has been. Then I*received*an email on 2/17/21 stating that my claim for the week ending on 2/13/21 was being deposited into my account. I can not seem to get through to anyone from the Reemployment Center, nor am*I*able to use the contact form for customer service to contact me as it states the maximum number of people have addressed the issue.*I am writing to you because I have no income besides the $208 I was receiving and I really can't afford to go months without payment as I am physically disabled. I also want to know will this continue to happen along as I state I am in school? I do not want to say no as that is NOT the case and of course that would be wrong to lie as well as illegal and I want to do everything in my power to do what is right and follow the law. Anyway in which you can assist me I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you.
I just spoke with someone by the name of Cassie. She said she sees my claim is stuck in pending see saw that my last claim was pending for a few days but this time it's not moving along. She stated hopefully this claim like the last claim will maybe only take a few days. She can't put in another Escalation Form as one was only put in February 3rd I must wait the full 8 weeks. I asked if I should be saying no the attending school. She said she was unable to tell me that I must speak with a specialist who would be at liberty to tell me the answer to that. Again I am writing you because I have no income besides the $208 I was receiving and I really can't afford to go months without payment as I am physically disabled.
