I have a NJUI claim from a normal job and since I filed I have been doing spotty work as self-employed/1099 for one employer. Some weeks I have a handful of hours, some weeks none. Pretty much the same situation as this...

https://www.city-data.com/forum/unem...ert-claim.html

So I had to reopen/reassert the claim when the first week of zero hours came up.

So, my question is... do you say you're still employed with the employer? It asks like two times in different form.

You could reason yes because you still have an agreement with the employer.

But you could reason no because, technically they could not give you work in like a year or more.

I know this is kind of a 'no-win' question, and plan on giving a full explanation in paragraph form, and ... if it works I'll probably have to do this again. Just wondering if anybody has been through this step.
