Before thoughts:
I really have no skills and can't find a job at Wendy's or have the experience to work as a janitor. I've applied at call centers, temp agencies, have had dozens of interviews and I never receive a call back, a letter, or anything. I call them back and never receive a call back like they are a ghost.

After thoughts:
Since im not skilled and I could be working as your janitor, stocker, pc tech, ect. Why isn't the skilled getting together with others in your field or from other fields and starting a business?
-Nanotechnologist, scientist, and an engineer to make a nanotechnology company.
-Programmer and artist to make a video game company.
Business major, accountant, and a marketing person to make a 3rd party management company for company's. Since there are limited part time work, find the companies that are looking for people and fit people in as many places as they can find them equalling a total of 40 hours or more a week if they wish.

To the skilled, why haven't you started a business?

Quite obviously, if there were customers for our would-be startup businesses, then we wouldn't be laid off in the first place.

What makes you think these people aren't starting businesses?

Other reasons:

1) Start-up capital sources are dried up presently
2) Youve got to have some sort of income before the income starts coming in
3) There's gotta be an end market for your product/service. If the market is saturated or doesnt exist, then starting a new company is pointless
