can anyone tell me if my boyfriend has a chance of winning hes apeal for OR unemployment (state, boss)

Hi my boyfriend appealed hes Unemployment in Oregon because hes Daughter has cancer and got Really sick with the flu and had to spend 3 days in the hospital. my boyfriend told hes boss he needed 3 days off to watch hes daughter children and because they were not sure if she would be able to recover from this or not while he was out those days everyone was layed off because the job was done. and now there denieing him his unemployment. so he apealed does he have a chance?

why do you say hes? that is not a word.

I think he should be able to get it, but I would have him call his state reps office and have them transfer to there "special" unemployment persons. In MI that is the way to talk to someone who can do more then enter info, they actually have power to change things.
