Too many workers there heard the sounds of running footsteps and screams of the replaying of the murder for it to be total nonsense.

You see, this is the kind of thing that demonstrates the credulity of people who buy into the claims of the paranormal. How many readers of this forum will nod and consider this proof of the claim without any evidence that anything in your post ever happened or even that this hospital ever existed?

Most of the earth IS haunted. Just because you cannot sense spirits around you does not make the earth free from haunting s due to violent death or any other passing from this earth.

This. Indeed, your very neighbourhood may've been the site of some bloody battle in history. Whether that be in Indian times, the Indian war, Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War.etc.
