I'm surprised this is still debated. Yes, I think they really went. Lots of people would have to create lots of lies to cover up something like this, i.e., Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and their entire NASA team...I just can't imagine why (or how) we could have faked it with so many people involved.
Yes, I agree. It was well documented. There is nothing suspicious about it whatsoever..unlike the continuing debate about who ordered the JFK assassination.
I think at least the first one was. A flag can not flutter on the moon since they is no wind or air. In 2003 NASA said they didn't currently have the capacity to send a man to the moon. If a man could not be sent to the moon in 2003 how could that have happened in 1969? Did technology regress or something? I think we faked the moon landing just to fulfill JFK's prophecy that we'd send a man to the moon by the end of the 1960s. Since everybody loved JFK and grieved after he died, NASA felt they had to fulfill his promise, so they faked a moon landing a few months before the 60s closed.
No, it was not. This conspiracy theory has been debunked so many times already... do you really need to start all over again? there should be a conspiracy theories forum here - this discussion belongs there, not in a paranormal one.
Faked maybe, maybe they landed on the moon and didn't actually get out of the ship and walk on the moon :-)
Nothing that says they just can't edit in that part later as part of the broadcast.
I think the government was worried about aliens, failures and "live" broadcast on what might happen. Delays and hollywood might have helped the american people and or the world see "easy" no issues moon landing and walk.

Maybe they landed but didn't get out to walk around on the moon? Yeah, let's send a crew to land on the moon, then we'll film and edit the rest to make it look like they walked around on the surface? Really? Why wouldn't they walk around?

I watched a show last month about the moon landings that included interviews with all of the living Apollo astronauts. At the end they addressed the part about the nuts who say the moon landings were faked, and one of the astronauts laughs and says, "Yes, we faked the moon landings...nine times."
Not only has the USA been to the moon but so has the USSR. I thought it was common knowledge that the Apollo 18 mission was the last time we were on the moon. I am pretty sure the man on the moon has a moon base for sale for the "moon rock" bottom price of $100,000,000. Back in the early 1980's MTV even used the moon to advertise their revolutionary music video channel by placing their corporate logo on a flag on the moon and showing it every 20 minutes on their cable TV channel. I mean c'mon didn't ya all see "Transformers, Dark side of the Moon" that is a true story!
