He had his own sighting and now probably wants to investigate the subject. We all have hobbies so I guess this is his and, since he has enough money to throw at this hobby, he bought the ranch and installed the science and technology on it to try to find out what is going on. Plus, he probably had an interesting chat with Bigelow about what NIDS found there. Depending on that (which is still undisclosed due to the government funding) he probably thought it interesting enough to take over the investigation. I am sure we all would do more with our hobby if we had bags of money.

What I read on that, was that Harry Reid was personal friends with Bigelow and Reid offered Govt money, in hopes it would lead to new military weapons technology.

Who among us wouldnt pass up Millions in Govt money to do something we are interested in?!

I had never heard of Bigelow having his own personal experiences with this kind of thing, I knew he was somewhat interested in UFOs/aliens though. Do you know if his personal experiences are anywhere online?

For anyone who didn't see Episode 1.

They have brought in by helicopter a radiation/cancer specialist (some mate of Brandon Fugal) and then whisked him away super-quick again. All he did was to attend a meeting with them all and told them to be careful. Why he was brought in, I have no idea.

This issue with digging up the ground has raised its head again and they decided to investigate a hole which was filled with bits of wood and dead bushes out by Outbuilding 2. They filled it with 45,000 gallons of dyed water and went looking for the outflow... nothing found, so there must be a cave system underground because the water disappeared after an hour. Strange phone behaviour after they decided to dig in the sinkhole. Also, allegedly saw some orange rectangular 'something' which disappeared as well as a UFO in the sky. Erik Bard looks totally confused all the time.

I wonder if Travis Taylor is the man from the government who reports back anything 'interesting' they find. He says he has worked on secret projects for the NASA and the intelligence community in the past.

I have boycotted the show since season 1, when they let some animal tear up one of their alpacas. I draw the line at abusing animals to make a buck. I did wonder about the "orange rectangular something", since I saw two of these things in Washington State. If we are talking about the same thing...looked like a flying rectangular box full of fire....no sound in either case. Weird.

Caves are something I never thought of...I bet there are some underground caverns in that general area, it may be impossible to find access today though.

Whatever became of that 'invisible stationary object' in the sky, they could never figure out? I never heard anything more about that.

Taylor has considerable government ties and a high-level security clearance. I'm sure he had to discuss his role on the show with the govt before he ever agreed to participate in the show.

The preview at the end of the episode shows more about rocket launches and things in the sky as well as all the usual drama-queen bits. I am sure the government would like to know what is going on there - if they dont already know what it is from the NIDS investigation. I cannot see them giving up on Bigelow & NIDS if they did not find out what was going on there. 22 mil is peanuts really when looked at in terms of National Security and knowing more about threats and potential weapons.

I suspect it is a bunch of ETs hanging out either in an invisible spacecraft there or else it is some ET underground base near there which is being protected from interference. Anything military in that area would not allow the risk being found out by digging and measuring stuff on the surface - although if it is military, they probably have "their man" there to check things dont get too intensely investigated.

Blind Frog Ranch is just down the road and they have many caves on their property- where the gold is apparently, so there is no reason to believe these caves dont cover that whole area. Who or what is in those caves is anyones guess.

Hes not very well liked by the ranch bunch either, and its not scripted, its real life, especially by "Dragon". There was a discussion with him on Facebook or Twitter one last year and he expressed his displeasure in having to work with him.

Dragon got all bent out of shape last season because he felt disrespected because he didn't have a PhD. Travis has a boatload of advanced degrees, and that other scientist, Jim Something, who was on last season, has even more advanced academic credentials. I noticed the latter was missing from last week's show.
