That's been making the evening and morning news rounds. It's really interesting but it would be nothing for someone to dress up in a weird costume just for fun, knowing there was a camera there, and knowing it would freak some people out. After all, that's exactly what's happening.
I can't help but notice, it's not a clear picture, just a typical blurry one where you can't make out details.
I wish the people from the zoo would put up actual footage. It would be so much clearer to the audience what is actually freaking them out. I did see the local news mentioned it at the bottom of the screen, and hadn't seen it until right now. Thank you for posting this.
I really love footage taken by security cameras, esp by regular organisations (in this case the city zoo). With no innate reason to fake it, it's more honest.
Now for this capture, it is entirely possible that a person dressed up and walked by @ night knowing that a camera was there. That's what I think is most likely.
Though it would be lots better to actually release the full video so that you can see what was actually captured from different angles and movements.
One thing that bothers me about a lot of surveillance footage is that they are really poor resolution. I get that this is at night, thus infrared, etc. But even in my city, a lot of daylight footage capturing a "suspect" etc looks so grainy and VHS resolution. 1080p is old technology and so cheap, at least have that dammit

I've never seen a picture of a cryptid, UFO, ghost, or anything paranormal that wasn't blurry. Since whoever was dressed in this "monkey suit" got such a response, I'm betting he will show up again before long. Stay tuned.
Yes, that is pretty much the standard, We have those little black globes in all our stores and we have a security company that records everything, but the times Ive looked at the digital video with the managers, the quality is CRAP.
Only banks and other very secure places have decent security systems, and COST is the reason!
Little does any customers in our stores know...only about half of those little black globes on the ceiling are real! (most are just black pieces of plastic), just to give the impression a camera is there. LOL Ive seen some that even have a red light, making it seem more realistic.
Regarding the cryptid in this video, like the other poster said, chances are its someone wearing something...
But as far as cryptid videos and photos being blurry and grainy, I think there may be something to that, Perhaps whatever these things are, they are not totally compatible with our electronic technology?
At the end of the day, FAR TOO MANY credible people have reported encounters and interactions with strange unknown animal like things, ad keep in mind, many happened BEFORE these things were made popular in movies or TV.
I know Ive brought this up a 1000 times before, but I will say it again...its one thing for someone to crave attention and do things to make that happen...but its something else entirely, for someone to intentionally ruin their careers or credibility by faking a sighting like this. That would be like starting a rumor in the breakroom at work, (about yourself), insinuating you have mental illness. (that is not exactly the good kind of attention. LOL)
Think about it, why would police officers, professionals, scientists, biologists, etc make some fake cryptid sighting and tell other people about it? what are the chances they are all trying to intentionally ruin their own lives? Not very likely imo.
It's a Spypoint Trail cam. I have one to take photos/videos of animals that frequent the yard. I'm not surprised to see such a crap photo as if the animal is in motion when the photo gets snapped, you get blur.
Unclear, poor contrast, black and white picture could be anything. I am going with a skinny homeless guy dressed weird or carrying junk.
