UK media bias: BBC and Channel 4 beat Sky and ITV on political balance - The Media Blog

Old survey.

What is your views on biased media? Do you think, like me, Channel 4 is the most impartial. Or, like me, do you increasingly search the web for fair coverage?

I think the BBC is very good when it comes to impartiality. But some people, the SNP for instance says that it's not and that it is undoubtedly part of the dreaded project fear!

I would say the BBC has became, over the past few years, annoyingly biased. I have switched to Channel 4. You are never gonna get a UK news channel supporting the SNP, but luckily here in Scotland we have some good, impartial and pragmatic reporting and shows. We know we won't get UK coverage supporting independence.

The Scottish Herald have said that they are in favour of the yes campaign! hardly "impartial and pragmatic" Paul. But that's Scottish politics for you.

I said reporting and shows as in TV, newspapers are hardly known to be impartial I'll agree!

And what is so different to our politics? We have been labour as long as the north of England. We have just got sick of ''new'' labour.
