This Latvian in our country has been convicted of murder and other offences and jailed in his own country,now hes wanted by police over a missing girl near a canal bank..... he was seen on CCTV at around the time she was last seen......what Id like to know is WHY has our government allowed a known felon into our country....

It says in the BBC article that he was not on police records.

It makes a mockery of the whole set up.

He was arrested in London in 2009 on suspicion of a sexual assault but the complainant didn't press charges. So the police can't say he wasn't known to them.

How this p.o.s. was ever allowed into the country is beyond me. I know it's a cliche to blame the 'open door' immigration policy the govt has allowed to exist, but if we had the balls to tell the EU to shove their absurd migration rules this scumbag would never have made it off the plane.
