Enough of this rubbish.

We all know that the police use Ford Consul GTs as their unmarked cars.

As anyone worth their salt knows, the Consul GT had the same engine as the better known Granada, but was lighter and came with manual transmission.

I have genuine video evidence to back up this claim.

Gawd "the Sweeney" you'r a bit out of date aren't you? they haven't made Ford Consuls for like centuries!

they've used Ford Sierra's and Mondeos I think in the past, probably like someone else said its all BMW's and Audi's now, I don't keep up to date with Police vehicles as we hardly see a cop in my neck of the woods and I don't drive on motorways if I can help it.

I got done by an unmarked Sierra in Cornwall once.

I was in a new Toyota MR2 T Bar Mk II.

Standards are different overseas. The Audi, BMW and Mercedes police cars aren't luxury cars. They're mass market/domesticated. These brands are seen as luxury cars in the US because they're "foreign and unique" in the U.S.
