Given that the Tories can do pretty much what they like now, are we to witness a return of Fox Hunting,
and if so, is there still sufficient appetite to resist it?

It may be back in discussion David Cameron is fond of ripping apart foxes for fun. Truly evil I say, which is why I call him the devil in human form.

I doubt they will be looking to debate this during the lifetime of the next parliament.

Last time they did it took up more parliamentary time than the debate on whether to go to war with Iraq under Blair.

Wow.

Should this occur then it would be absolute proof that the country is going backwards.

Well they are the conservatives thats what they do. More xenophobia, more fear and more blaming people who don't have power- like the poor, unemployed and immigrants.

My Conservative MP voted against the badger cull, and could well do the same for fox hunting. Are there enough opposition MPs in favour to overcome a rebellion? If we live in a world where certain animal numbers need to be controlled, does it mattered if they are shot, poisoned, or chased by men in red coats and dogs? The only ones with cause to object are vegetarians. Everyone else is a hypocrite.
