I went to the Eden Project & it was pants & I love gardening/horticulture...

If you have the time (& funds) I would go over to Tresco Abbey Gardens on the Isles of Scilly...

There are a few other gardens in Cornwall worth visiting too, but my favourite is in Dorset, Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens near Weymouth

I've always wanted to go there but I know it's way too expensive for us. Worse now because the exchange rate is unfavorable to Americans.

If you get over to that part of Wiltshire, my old stomping ground, then it is worth seeing.

There are some other notable sights very close by, namely Silbury Hill and the West Kennet Long Barrow, both neolithic sites.

The nearby market town of Marlborough is very nice.

Menu from The Lamb Inn, Marlborough
I used to live 50 yards from there.

I haven't been in The Lamb in years though.

One time I was sitting by a dog, a collie, which was drinking beer at the bar- no kidding.

It was a bit rougher then!

Oh, it does sound like a good place, lol.

Lucky you to have lived nearby, even though it was rougher then.
