Really? They would accept Greece and they think Scotland is too poor and out of budget?

Greece is already in the EU and there is no mechanism for expelling her.

It will never happen Jaggy..I was more meaning, shes trying to convince us that we can keep the pound as if thats all we need.... we d be left in a total mess in Scotland.

It isn't in her gift.

The SNP are trying to 'de-risk' independence. Same currency, same head of state, no hard border, still in the EU, still in NATO, etc. etc.. They are trying to make out that not much will change. Problem is that those things are dependent on other countries and they will look to their own interests first. Thus Westminster has said no currency union and Spain has said they will veto Scottish entry to the EU (because of Cataluna). And the SNP has no answer to that except to say they are 'scaremongering' and 'bullying'.
