Police Hunt Stonehenge Vandals (from This Is Wiltshire)

THESE are the CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with causing criminal damage at Stonehenge which have been released by police. At 7.45pm on Thursday, May 15, a security guard at the historic monument disturbed two men causing damage to the stones using a hammer and screwdriver.

I find this post interesting from a number of points of view.

Thank you for posting this Garry Denke.

This is a kind of reverse for me as I am a Wiltshire boy (now in my fifties) who lived in Texas.

As a young boy I would walk among the stones and have been there for the Summer Soltice before it fell into the clutches of English Heritage and is now the National Embarrassment it is.

I do not like taking visitors to that place.

Re the vandalism- chop their goolies off and hang them out to dry.
