I am writing the detail of my opinion on Medium to be posted later, but the main points can be distilled as follows:

Governments, developers and urban planning professional are formulating plans for cities and towns. I have concerns about this approach. I believe it's not appropriate for specific experts alone to plan spaces that the public uses, as it doesn't seem to fully reflect the users' perspectives. I feel there's a need for a tool that allows citizens, along with governments and developers, to jointly develop town plans. Current GIS software is expensive and complicated, making it difficult for the average person to use. On the other hand, simple map tools like Google map can be said to lack functionality. We need a tool to work together.

I'd love to hear opinions and critiques from urban planning professionals, students, and anyone interested.

I've created a simple prototype as a trial.

It was produced in 5 days, and there's much room for improvement currently. While it's not yet of professional quality, I want to evolve it into something beneficial for society. I'd appreciate feedback on its usability, desired features, and areas of enhancement.

And I'm considering adding the following 3D models other than trees:
Outdoor structures: bridges, fences, athletics equipment, fishing reefs, thickets,
Buildings: houses, cafes, libraries, wooden decks, stages,
Furnitures: parasols, tables, chairs.
If you have more ideas, please let me know.
Also, I'd appreciate it if you could provide the URL for free or paid 3d model with less polys.

If you know of any posts discussing similar topics, please share them.

Cheers,

Wataru
