Moving to Moab and just curious how prevalent these are in that area? We have a couple dogs and like to keep them safe

There are venomnous snakes in the Moab area.

Better safe than sorry. Vaccinations against snake venom are available and a really good idea. Dogs stick their noses in everything as we all know so dogs are usually bitten on their faces. They still need treatment after a bite but it's a far better situation than without. I get them for mine every year and I've only seen one rattlesnake on my place.
