I have traveled to most of the ares of the 4 corners, please rate the states in order of preference and the best national or state park in the 4 corner area.
It would be tough for me but I would list
1) Utah
2) Colorado
3) New Mexico
4) Arizonia
and my favorite park in the region would be Bryce
What do you think?

i love the 4 corners area. the monument is kinda boring (i get to stand in 4 states at once, yippee!), but the area around it is utterly spectacular.

i don't know that i really have a ranking for the states there, though utah is my home state and i am biased in that direction. i tend to think about geographical regions rather than state and park boundaries.

either way, the monument valley area has a large concentration of my favorite places in the world, or is remarkably close to the ones that aren't in its turf: monument valley itself, grand gulch, san juan river, canyonlands, lake powell, capitol reef, bryce, zion, grand staircase, and many others.

We went there once (once is enough) and flew around the area, just to be able to claim that we flew over 4 states within 5 minutes .....
