I am researching for a possible move to the Portland/Vancouver area. I have a son who is schizophrenic and want to find the best services for him. If anyone has experience with the state mental health system in either WA or OR, I'd like to hear your opinion as to which state has better services. Thanks.

Hi Mom. I have a child with a disability as well. WA has better services at this time. Of course, anything run through the state is much less good than private, so even though WA is better between the two, it still isn't great. I hope this helps you in some way.
