My husband is making fishing trip to Prince Rupert Sound toward end of June with other people from his office--his boss is springing for it as reward for successful project.
Reading about the rainy weather I wondered if anyone had recommendation for quality lighter-weight jacket with hood to use.
I have looked at sites like North Face and LL Bean and REI but every time I think I have found a jacket that would work there seems to be comments that either thee jacket is not as waterproof as it is adveretised or that it is not "breathable" which I know is very important for comfort.

We are in DFW TX area and the jackets he has aren't truly waterproof except for a slicker that doesn't breath...
Dont mind spending some money IF the jacket is top quality--but expensive does not automatically quarantee top quality anymore...
