I've done a search for apartment info in the Ventura County area specifically for more mature (50+) persons but I haven't found anything substantial. Can anyone point me in the direction if such apartment complexes exist in either Camarillo, Ventura or Thousand Oaks? I'm not looking for apartment properties exclusively for seniors. Just don't want to be in an area with a lot of college kids and other party types.

There are 55+ rentals that may work well for you; this is one of many sites that will list various units:
Senior Outlook - Housing Options for Senior Living or, you could work with a property management team to narrow down the search.

You might be able to rent a place in Leisure Village in Camarillo. That might be an option for you.

Yes, I do remember Leisure Village. I lived in Camarillo in the late '80s - early '90s. Thanks.

I don't know if any of the housing is strictly for older folks, but Oak Park and the connecting areas of Thousand oaks tend to have an older crowd. This area is very quiet.

what is your price range? I happen to know of one available that might be what you are looking for (I'm not a realtor!)
