Anyone attend FHUHS in the mid 60's? I had friends there that graduated in '66.

I hear the school has gone to the dogs. Also, is Fair Haven pretty much the same now as it was back then? I know there is a Subway and Macdonalds there.

Seems to be many homes for sale too for such a small town. When I lived there in the 50's. we had a small theater downtown and St. Mary's school was open. The nuns lived near the school so we would visit them sometimes and I
remember how spartan their home was. Also, Father Vignoe sp, was the junior priest and on Halloween we went to the priests home and wow what a great place they had. Very posh.

He was also a very handsome priest that had the girls wishing he were not a priest. Oh, the memories.

Default Fair Haven

How about anyone on here that has lived or lives in Fair haven?
It had over 3,000 residents when I lived there many years ago.

Still looks the same as when I was a kid. We used to call the downtown area downstreet. Also, we were told not to wear shorts but pants when going downstreet by the Nuns.

Which I did until it got too hot in the summer.
