It's 100 degrees in Baltimore.

I sure wish I was in Vermont today.

That's all.

Not much one can do when it's 100. We hit that mark one day last summer. Is this the new normal? We had high humidity today and maybe 85. That was enough for me to add a can of refrigerant to the AC in my wife's car. We had a front pass through about an hour ago and now it's in the 60s. I'll take that!

LOL! It's been 100 in VA for the last couple of days. You get 'used' to it in the fact that things can't stop because it's hot or you'd be inside all of the time. Last year we had 67 days of temps in the 90s....falling just short of 90 soooooo many times with 88s and 89s.

We had a front pass through overnight. Now, it's just in the 80s and high humidity. I think I'm in the rainforest somewhere....well, that's what it feels like. Unfortunately it's high rises all around instead

And this is why I'll take the winter any day of the week. I think we'll probably hit closer to 85 - 90 days of above 90 degree heat this year in this area. It's ok - but, just like spending $$ on heat up north....my air conditioner starts up and doesn't stop until after dark....and then the house just gets muuuuuuggy!

My aunt and uncle moved to Tennessee to get away from the long Vermont winters....ummm....yeah - now they don't do anything all summer because it's so hot and it's cooler there than here in VA.

This is very funny -- and exactly what I say about Vermont winter. In summer, I'm an AC refugee -- and ours runs all night, too. Haven't left the AC in days.

I might be able to emerge today. Might even be able to sleep with the windows open tonight.

LOL! I'm definitely an outdoorsy girl and I do love cold more than heat....but, since I am stuck here in Virginia I just try and make the best of it. It was about 108 with the heat index the other day and my husband didn't want to be outside nor any of my neighbors so I decided to go work on my car. Everyone thought I was nuts....but I just like being outdoors

LOL! Thank you! I just looked at the data and apparently we hit 102 yesterday...who knew.... We are going down to about 90 tomorrow - so that's just typical summer weather. Usually it doesn't happen this early in the season....but what are you gonna do....

I saw 118 last week, and expecting the 130's within the next 30 days. Thank God I'm getting out of this place! Even better moving north when I get home!!

LOL! You must be deployed over in the middle east? Just guessing. My husband had three deployments over there and he saw the 130s as well. Me - I don't mind being in an oven I do prefer cold...but can't do anything about the heat so I'll take it either way.
