Quick question: I use "City Data" a lot, and we are now looking at smaller towns in Vermont. It seems strange that there is no hospital in the state capital. Is this correct? Nearest is 51 miles away in Elizabethtown, NY? What do you folks do with piles of snow on the ground and nearest ER 51 miles away?

Town looks very interesting to us, but above worries me a little. Both very healthy right now, but......

Umm...City Data is wrong then.
Central Vermont Medical Center is in nearby Berlin, about 5 minutes from downtown Montpelier.

Default Thanks Vter

That was quick!! Hospital has good web-site; makes sense now. Since you are in Vermont, do you know how to tell City Data of the error? Thanks again; we will probably be up in a month or so now.

Not only that, but Burlington is under 40 miles from Montpelier, for things the smaller hospitals can't handle. Dartmouth is a bit further away.

City Data has many errors in each state. They are most likely to numerous at this point. I think the only fix is a complete update.
