Hey,

Not sure if this is the right forum for it, but I'm from VT and I've been looking for an art studio to play music at in the Montpelier area, perhaps as far as Burlington, but preferably closer to Montpelier. I've checked craigslist constantly and driven around the area, but was wondering if anybody knew of any other resources or if you were from the area if you had or knew anybody renting anything out.

Thanks!

Langdon Street Café comes to mind.

Are you looking for performance space, or studio/practice space?

Another alternative for performing is The Lamb Abbey: The Lamb Abbey-Home Page

Have you checked with a realtor, they usually handle commercial rentals. Music stores, they are tuned into the music scene. You didn't mention the classified ads, Seven Days is the weekly arts paper and it's everywhere in the area and it's free. Other papers are the Burlington Free Press and the Montpelier/Barre Times Argus. Just driving around and looking at Craiglist is a pretty limited search.
