Hope this does not pan out but ....
Console gamers will prolly lap it up like they did paying for DLC and then itll hit the PC market.

I was reading it just fine. They did similar with Mass Effect - new comes with Cerberus Network, used does not. When you buy a used game from GameStop or eBay, the developers see nothing from it. It's a smart way to "cash in" on the popular used game market.

It was taken down and put back up.

Only time will tell if its smart or not. You may get people just not buying that title anymore. Look at the MOH series and how quickly people stopped playing that after the last release. Went from thousands of servers down to just hundreds in what looked overnight. Gamers can voice their opinions with their wallets and with their keyboards. Call of Duty will end up the same too unless MW3 does a backstep from CODBO
