So this game has gotten one of the highest reviews in awhile. I loved Bioshock 1, thought BS2 was okay. Still thinking if I should spend many many hours on this one. Let me know what you guys think.

I like this one a lot, maybe even more than Bioshock 1. The story and atmosphere are great the devs took their time on this one and it paid off.

It looks good to me and can't wait to buy it, but I have some other games to finish first before I get this one.

I'm still at the beginning of Bioshock 1 haha. I bought it awhile back but never really played it but I'm interested in seeing how it plays out (no spoilers, please!). I've saw Metacritic has extremely high reviews of Bioshock Infinity and I'm waiting for the price to come down on it before getting it. I'm going to play Bioshock 1 & 2 before even considering a purchase of infinity. From what I personally read, it's well worth it to buy it, but if you're like me, you'd wait till the price drops on a (big) sale.

Bioshock Infinite is outstanding so far. I'm 4.5 hours or so into the PC version. Visuals are beautiful. Combat and overall gameplay is far better than Bioshock 1. Riding skylines is friggin' cool. The overall presentation is up there among the very best, even topping the original Bioshock IMO.

The only complaint I have is the way the save system works.

If the rest of Bioshock Infinite keeps up this level of quality, it'll be in my top 10 favorite games this gen. The first Bioshock's quality went way down for me after about two-thirds through, and the final two chapters were kinda boring.

I think the reviews are accurate. It's a brilliant game on so many levels. If you have ever studied American culture/history/art, etc. of the Gilded Age and Progressive era you're in for a special treat!

I hated the first two games (decent visuals and storyline but horribly annoying gameplay) so I'm not really excited about this one.

The first two were my favorite. That said, infinite is awesome too. I think though, that the plasmids from 2 were freaking AWESOME!! Not so much for the vigors. I have found myself easily forgetting to use the vigors. In bioshock2 I used them continuously. I don't know, I just really like the idea of being 20,000 leagues under the sea. Lol
