I was hoping, and praying, and pleading, that this was not a case of video game to movie. There is no reason anywhere at anytime that Need for Speed needed a movie. I was hoping they were just swiping the title for something completely unrelated to the video games. Then I saw the trademark of EA message. All hope for Hollywood out the window. It's a racing game. There's no story. You race. End of Line. O wait, depending on which mode you might have a few cops to flee from.
Jared, don't tempt them. They obviously have no issue making movies about nothing.
