Been playing Rimworld for the past week or so. I suck at it and keep getting killed. Usually playing in Tundra and I keep either running out of food basically have zero defenses as everything is going towards enough solar/wind generators to power sunlamps/heaters and then I get wiped out by raiders. Tried Ice Sheets a few times but my people get pissy when I start having them chop up dead bodies and eat them until my first crops come in. Then they wander around in a daze and get frost bite (ones I haven't looted winter clothing for from the meat supply) or I get the one guy that can actually fight go beserk take over the shelter and my other two wimpy grower/constructor types freeze outside. I had one Ice Sheet make it past the initial period, got some decent supplies from an offworld trader and then I had a solar flare and my crops all died in the hydroponics so I went back to cannibalism and then got raided while one guy was running around lighting everything on fire and another wandered into the pack of raiders and got blown up by a grenade.

Last play through in the farthest north boreal forest biome (plenty of wood for heat) my medic got killed by a herd of caribou that got pissed off that I was hunting them and then everyone got the plague and died.

Amnesia the dark descent. I've already played it a few times so the scare factor has worn off, but it is still an excellent game.

I'm pretty sure it was Tetris. About 20 years ago.

I feel very, very technologically behind the curve after reading this thread.... such is life.
