Being 55+ we are interested in purchasing in Falls Run gated community, Fredericksburg, VA.
Specifically we want a 3 bedroom, 2+ bathroom place we can settle into.
We have a realtor working with us to find the right place in falls run.
Any suggestion or potential sellers we might communicate and talk about this?
Please advise?
Thanks, AJMDLM

No suggestions or advice but a question. Why Falls Run vs one of the other 55+ communities in the Fredericksburg area, such as the other being build Del Webb? I know Falls Run is built out so how are the amenities there? Just asking because we looked at a few of the other newer ones in that area but don't know much about Falls Run. Thanks.

I also like Falls Run becuse the prices are moderate. The other Del Webb community in Fredericksburg (Celebrate?) is located in an area which seems extremely congested with retail stores, and the houses are much more expensive. Price is a consideration, because many resales were bought at peak prices in 2007. You don't want to repeat the mistake of over-paying for a house.

The one issue with Falls Run is the the floor plans are not modern and open. Some floor plans are small and congested. The appliances and cabinets are also likely not to be up-to-date.

I have looked on the web at other 55+ communities in Fredericsburg, and don't care for them. They do not have the one amenities I consider essential: an indoor pool.
