Fairfax corner (townhouse, buying, university)

We're thinking of buying a townhouse near Fairfax corner - how long do you think the drive would really be from there to Georgetown university? Would it be more than an hour by car?

Is that the Fairfax Corner that's by the intersection of 66 and 50? If so, a lot would depend on when the classes were being held. If you were to go during rush hour, you would not be able to get on 66 inside the beltway (unless you carpooled), so you'd have to take 50 all the way in or GW Parkway. I'd say maybe 45 mins. During off-peak times you might get there in 30 mins. A lot also depends on Key Bridge itself. I've sat on the bridge for 15 or more minutes alone at times.
