I am torn between two colors. Here are the color options:

2016 Volvo XC90 - Inscription AWD Colors | Autobytel.com

And the Volvo car build color selector -

I'm partial to the twilight bronze or savile grey. The osmium grey also looks pretty sharp.

Bright Silver or Magic Blue with the Charcoal w/ Nappa interior.

I'm about to get my XC-90 but mine is used. It blew an engine so my DH bought an S60 (I think it was an S60 I do know it's an R though) R engine and is going to put into my XC-90. It's a gold color though it looks silver in the pics. I can't wait. $1900. Cheapest XC-90 ever.

What a bland colour palette. Europe and the UK have many more colours including Bursting Blue and Passion Red.

I would personally go for the blue if it were available in the US

These look to be the exact same color palettes offered in the US market (maybe they're named differently?).

I was just at the dealer looking at the two blue colors and the red yesterday.

I think in both the US and UK the lighter blue and red are only offered on the R-design models.

I found the UK site you linked very helpful in evaluating colors.

If I was to trade my XC for a new one, I would probably go Ember Black with Amber Inscription interior.

Either that or Crystal White because I hate a black car! My current XC is Electric Silver which is a beautiful coarse metallic silver. And I hate silver cars.

I love the magic blue. I wish it were just a shade or two lighter like the Barents blue they used in the mid 2000's. I would either choose that because it's a really rich shade and not your typical grayscale, or go with one of the whites because European cars just look so clean and crisp in white and it doesn't scratch as easily as the darker colors.
