Some friends and I were talking about wanting to go to a horse race. At first somebody suggested Pimlico, but that's far from where we live in DC. So I did some searching and learned that Rosecroft existed in Oxon Hill... trouble is that I can't find anybody who's been there in years. Has anybody been recently? Is it worth a visit for a day at the races?

I have never been to a harness race, although I have been to the thoroughbred track at Laurel. I can't get excited about harness racing.

The race tracks in Maryland are even more depressing then your typical race track. The glamour of horse racing is long gone. All the action is now at casinos like Arundel Mills.
