It's no secret that PG county has been getting more attention when it comes to development. The question is which one are you the most looking forward to? Not all of these are set in stone.

I can't pick one but

Of the active projects:
Opening of MGM
Riverdale Park Station

Of the future projects:
Renovation of PG Plaza
Purple Line
FBI

Most of these are in or around Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, and College Park...but the development was largely what attracted me to the area, so seeing it complete is definitely exciting for me.

I would also have made New Carrollton redevelopment an option. Out of these I picked Konterra due to the mass and scale of the project, it done correctly it could have similar impact to NH on the entire county.

What about the revitalization of FedEx Field?Once Dan Snyder can he is running to VA or DC and then what do you do with it? Maryland (University) doesn't want it ,Navy nope ,not the Ravens so what do you do with it?Even if torn down there is not enough real estate to make up for the financial loss DS will get hit with .Add in the loss of Jobs and taxes it could be rough on PG.

There are no plans to revitalize FedEx Field. It is what it is; a football stadium complex. The Redskins' use of the stadium isn't up for renegotiation until 2028. FedEx Field isn't even part of Prince George's 2035 master plan, Downtowns initiative, or reinvestment initiative.

The earliest you would ever hear of something replacing the stadium would be after 2024 or whenever Snyder decides he wants to stay or leave FedEx.

The Landover Mall site would get redeveloped well before FedEx.

Not saying the same thing will happen, but look across the river at Pentagon City. It grew for the most part from the proximity to the Pentagon (31,000 employees). Some developments spur more development and growth. The FBI has the potential to do the same thing for Greenbelt and the surrounding areas even with only 11,000 employees.

I think most people would be glad to get half of what Pentagon and Crystal cities have become.Especially around the mall area.
