A friend of mine is in need of a good Cardiologist in Maryland,VA or Dc. I know they prefer a smaller officer vs a large practice due to the fact that a larger office might not give you the time, attention as a smaller practice would. If you know of a cardiologist either small practice or large practice please send me a private email with name and number.

This guy.

Bryan D Raybuck , MD

He and a cardiac surgeon at Fairfax Inova gave my mom 15 addtional years. I thought he was terrific, as did my sister who's a nurse. She and my mom actually lived on the Eastern Shore when my mom started having severe problems. My sister did a lot of networking and looked at all the hospitals in both Baltimore and DC before settling on Dr. Raybuck and Dr. Speir, the cardiac surgeon.

Dr. Peter Sabia of Silver Spring is excellent and very kind. He's close to Holy Cross Hospital. I think the number is: 301-681-5700. The practice is large, but the care seems to be good and the office organized.

Dr. James L. Cockrell (electrophysiologist) and Dr. Robert DiBianco, both of Cardiovascular Consultants, P.A. (Takoma Park/ washington Adventist Hospital & Shady Grove Hospital/Gaithersburg).

I am up my upper 30s and was diagnosed at age 16 by Dr. DiBianco with long QT syndrome. Dr. Cockrell took over as my specialist when he came on board to the practice a few years after that because he is an electrophysiologist and specializes in my area of disease.

In fact, all the drs. in the practice are top notch; my mother was an OR nurse at WAH and worked with almost all of them and we have had assorted personal medical dealings with them over the years with various family members.

I'd definitely recommend Dr. Cockrell and Dr. DiBianco.
