How long does it take to renew a drivers license at the MVA if you have an appointment?

Assuming no hangups about the new secure license (or whatever it's called) 45 minutes to an hour.

Or if you've already gone through the 'RealID' process I think you can do it by mail having your eye test done by your eye doctor

OK. Then read the documents you need and have them in order when you go. I don't have a birth certificate that Maryland recognizes so I had to use an alternate document, my DD-214. There was an issue with it because the MVA clerk couldn't see the stamp imprint on it. Then my Social Security card is so old that my name and number are typed on instead of printed.

Even with all that and having to be kicked up to a supervisor I only spent a little over an hour exclusive of standing in line outside.
