Hi!
I just came to MD six months ago from Texas. Currently I am staying in a motel in Germantown. I found a job in Rockville (Twinbrook). It takes approximately 45 minutes of commute.
I would like to rent a townhome with a fenced yard so that I could bring have dog.
I am a single, male.
I would like to shorter commute time as much as possible.
I can afford approximately 1500 per month.
Where and which area I should look for a townhouse? Rockville, twinbrook, Montgomery village, Gaithersburg
Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Look in Rockville or in Gaithersburg by the Shady Grove metro station.

You wont be able to find anything in Rockville for that price except a nice one bedroom apartment. Montgomery Village would be possible (Gaithersburg) and that would put you within a 10 minute drive to the Shady Grove metro station on the red line which goes to Twinbrook. The farther north from Rockville you go, the lower the prices get. Hope that helps.
